When is Alstock?

 

Alstock comprises of 2 events, the Friday Night Party Night and the main event on Saturday.  Both are ticketed separately.

 

Can I bring my own Alcohol?

 

Alstock raises money for local charity. None of the organisers make any money from the event.  All proceeds including from the bar go towards this, so we don’t allow people to bring their own alcohol.

 

Can I bring my own food?

 

We have on-site food vans, you can leave the site and use one of Bodmin's many cafes.  We don't allow people to bring large amounts of food to the site, unless there is a valid medical exemption.

 

Can I bring my dog?

 

It’s a loud busy environment, so we believe it’s in the best interests of your pet to not allow dogs on site.  Obviously assistance animals are permitted.

 

How can I pay on-site?

 

We accept cash and debit cards

 

Will I be searched on entry?

 

We operate a zero tolerance drugs policy  

You will need to pass through security before entering the site with bag checks in operation. This will be done with minimal contact. Please allow extra time for arrival and do not bring large bags or rucksacks. Please report anything suspicious to a Festival steward or staff member.

You cannot bring these items onto the festival site, if you are found to have one of the following it will be removed and returned to you when you leave.

  • Air horns
  • Knives
  • Flag poles & banners
  • Laser pointers
  • Pyro, smoke containers, fireworks
  • Spiked umbrellas
  • Tools
  • Glue
  • Cable ties
  • Chains

 

 

What ID do we accept?

 

  • Passport 
  • Driving License (including provisional license)
  • Proof of Age Card certified with a PASS hologram
  • A National Identity card issued by an EU member state

We do not accept other forms of ID or expired ID. 


Please note: Photocopies or photos are not acceptable.

 

Can I bring a chair?

 

There’s a lot of seating, a lot of people bring camping chairs.  We’re fine with that.

 

What happens if I feel unwell or unsafe at the festival?

 

Our main priority is the customer experience, we have security, who are approachable and really nice, we also have an ambulance which is staffed all day Saturday, so go and see them if you’re not feeling good.

 

How do I apply to play at Alstock?

 

Pop us an email, we get a lot of people applying to play, we also watch a lot of bands, ask our mates in the business to keep an eye out for good acts and a few of us play in many different bands.  We’ll consider any application, but we do book acts up to a year in advance!

 

Is there parking?

 

Bodmin Town Council operate a car park just below the site, although there’s often activities going on that day.  It is a public, paid car park

 

Is there camping?

 

We don’t offer camping, there is a campsite called The Leans just up the road
